As we gamers know that the Diablo franchise is a beloved game that kept us occupied by hacking and slashing our way through tons and tons of the undead. Even with criticisms and denunciation from many of its fans, Diablo 3 has remained persistent and has now announced its third season.
Diablo 3 has been a bumpy ride for developers and gamers alike. For almost three years now, Blizzard has been indulging its fans with a few updates here and there, a nerf to this and that, and a buff to my skills and yours. This has been going on for the duration since its release and overtime.
The game changed for the good but unfortunately, some gamers are still not satisfied. But who can blame them?
The game that we used to love is now a different game except for its characters. But that didn’t stop Blizzard from continuing its legacy. Diablo 3 lives on with its upcoming season 3 and now, rumors are circling that a new content is about to surface in the little town called New Tristram.
Rumored To Add New Content To Diablo 3 At BlizzCon 2015
While the BlizzCon is still many months away, Diablo fans are already talking about it with the rumor that is said to add content to Diablo 3. Their recent expansion was the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls and that was way back in March 25, 2014. Thanks to Geeky Gadget’s source, an alleged intern at Blizzard that is part of the Diablo 3 team stated that a new content is on its way and is said to be announced at BlizzCon 2015. On that day, a simple trailer is said to be revealed. Unfortunately, Blizzard won’t be revealing too much so the content would still be uncertain if it’ll be a new expansion or a DLC. But that’s not all, the new content is also rumored to introduce Runewords system to the game that we all loved and farmed for during the Diablo 2 era.
It’s A Waiting Game Until BlizzCon 2015
As a current Diablo 3 player, I am excited to hear what Blizzard has to offer to its fans. It may be a long wait but I’m sure I’m not the only one out there that’s waiting for Diablo 3 to come around. I’m not saying that I don’t like what they’ve done to the game (considering I have spent thousands of hours on the game already), but I do like the game play of what used to be Diablo 2. But hearing that there’s a slight chance to bring back the Rune System to the game, it would very much improve and change how Diablo fans see the Diablo 3 now.
The best way to keep up-to-date is either keeping up with the news from Blizzard or get your BlizzCon tickets. If you can’t afford it, then you can get the virtual tickets (which will be released later than the normal tickets) and catch the BlizzCon online!
