AMD has just released a promotional video on YouTube (which you can see at the bottom of this post) and is making some seriously bold claims which we all know wont last for long. The R9 295X2 is the fastest in the world, it has some really amazing looking stats that really makes you want to do that overtime.
Asetek closed-loop liquid cooling
It’s a really special looking card but not 100% sold on the provided cooling solution. In reality, to people like yourself and I who possibly already have a custom water cooling setup that has more cooling power it’s just a premium which we don’t really require. The premium price tag that reflects the premium cooling could easily be invested into a high quality water-cooling GPU block.
Can it handle Ultra-HD Resolution?
Samsung has just released the Samsung U28D590D 28 inch Ultra HDMI Monitor which is perfect to pair with the 295X2 and comes equipped to handle the next generation of 4K monitors at even the highest of resolutions. Not only that, as usual you can combine up to 5 HD screens without the card breaking a sweat.
The R9 295X2 comes with 2 Mantle technology-enabled GPUs that are supported by 8GB of on-board RAM and supplied with liquid cooling to keep the 295X2 nice and chilly.
